June Photo Project
Photography Project Updates
We’re almost to June!
So here’s how our calendar looks…
May 31st, 5:30pm-whenever is our 4-H Club Meeting, where we’ll be taking a look at the new fair premium book, ensuring that everyone is enrolled in the right projects (this will just take a few minutes), and enjoying some chili and a campfire. We can start planning a “superhero photo booth” to install at the fairgrounds in August. We’ll need to plan capes, superhero masks, backdrops, etc…
June 4th, deadline to submit May photos (including FOOD photos). On a side note, Danell will also be set up at the Chimacum Farmers Market with crafts and robots, so if anyone wants to come out to help out please do! It’s 10am-2pm.
June 8th, meeting at the NWDL. Assignment: Photojournalism. Photojournalism for a non-profit or group who would benefit from quality photographs showing the volunteers, mission and community benefit that they provide. Specifically, we’ll be discussing how to coordinate a meeting at the Center Valley Animal Rescue, as well as photographing the Chicken Champions 4-H Club (kids would like portraits of themselves with the chickens they plan to show in the fair).
Dates after that are to-be-decided as we coordinate our schedules with these other clubs and non-profits.
